Tamron time!

Thanks to my lovely friends Steve and Sharlene (who feature in a few of my posts, actually) I have a beautiful new Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 lens so that I can shoot their wedding. It's so damn fantastic - I'm still getting used to it, but here are some of my first shots with it.

Ahh, friendly!

Wool collection - I love the clarity of texture and colour!

Winters past

I'm currently in a state of limbo. My camera has been sick for a number of months - it won't read a memory card any more, so I'm waiting to accumulate enough funds to fix it. In the meantime, I'm drowning myself in some past fun with my good friend Clare's lovely 50mm portraiture lens - ahhh, nothing like short depth of field to give you the fuzzies.

Impossible love.

'Nuff said.

Significant cakes in March

Because we ALL know how good I am at keeping to a theme...

Just the Christmas slides

Tripping down the country from Taranaki to Nelson with my Mum and Nana over New Year's. My first time in the South Island! Legend.

Quiet and creepy at Rabbit Island, Nelson.

Nelson wharf, New Year's Eve.

At Christmas I discovered that I sucked at Scrabble...

...And re-affirmed my love for colourful lights.

Oh my goodness

Summer festivals = families = Babies! This is Ari, shot on the last day of Passionfest 2011

Lost in the Orongorongos for four days and this is the only semi-good shot of the whole time. Tchah, nature.

It's hipster time! Caravans, bunting, colourful house buses - noone could resist the tempation to add a bit of retro, least of all me.
