Recently I embarked on my first ever hitchhiking trip - travelling from Wellington to Auckland and back again with my boyfriend Chris, who's a total pro. One of the sweetest trips of my life - some great company and bloody good luck with rides. We got picked up so much that we ran ahead of schedule and had time to stop for coffee on the way back down. It's such a hard life! The first photo was taken on the shore of Lake Taupo on the way up.
